Pre-registrationSTEP 1 - SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
Starts: January 31, 2026.Deadline: March 20, 2026.NO PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THIS STAGE1. Go to https://conf.koushare.com/conf/pim-wave-ap2026 to create your account and start registration 2. Fill in the Personal Information and Upload your abstract. 3. Sumbit your registration. The abstract file (no more than 1 page) must include your name, name of supervisors and your institution, as well as a brief description of your research interest and your motivation to participate to this school (~10 lines). The main criteria for selection will be based on your research interest and your motivation to participate to this school. After this first application, we will contact each selected candidate in March to confirm that they can attend the summer school and invite them to complete the Registration process.
Financial support:
Thanks to generous support from the Seismological Society of America (SSA), we are pleased to offer travel grants to students attending the 2026 Asia-Pacific Summer School in Dali, China. These grants are intended to help cover essential expenses, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, and registration fees.
Students who wish to apply for financial support should submit their application and send a brief statement to yxsheng@ustc.edu.cn explaining why they require assistance to participate in the Summer School.
